In late Spring 2025, a handful of US government employees passionate about the country and its natural beauty wanted to create a space for individuals all across government to bring their expertise to the table and put ideas forward on how we could take concrete steps to advance sustainability, innovation and responsible environmental stewardship.

Our intent is to bring together the expertise and ideas from across federal agencies such as HUD, Interior, GSA, EPA, Commerce and more, and to facilitate connections across the government space.  We invite you join our LinkedIn group regardless of your professional expertise working with the government.  Our only criteria is your interest in supporting a federal government that advances a cleaner, sustainable country for all of us to live in.

Guiding Principles

1.  Be respectful and maintain civil discourse at all times.
2.  Encourage creativity and idea-sharing.
3.  We learn from the past to know best what actions to take in the future.
4.  Follow the data, verify the outcomes, and develop a plan of action.
5.  Focus on what we can control and take positive steps forward.
6.  Shift from a stand still and resist posture to one of collaborative action.
7.  Be curious and welcoming of other perspectives.
8.  While there is broad intersectionality with many realms of human endeavor, the focus and discussions of this group will remain on environmental issues such as sustainability, climate action and conservation.
